ELI news- we are very saddened to report that Eli is no longer with us. After undergoing 2 TPLO knee surgeries at the age of 2, Eli developed neurological issues at the age of 3 and could no longer walk. He had to be "put down" shortly after our baby was born. We loved him dearly and "The Poca" will be missed by all who touched his life. Mira is now 4 and she is strong, healthy, and doing well.

Origin of Corso Breed (not recommendation of this breeder)

Cane Corso- Mastino Italiano- Italian Mastiff

We currently have two Corsos, Mira and Eli. Mira is from Antaeus Kennels in Canada. Eli is from Parco Del Po. Eli was originally called Furio.

Corsos are a rare and ancient breed, dating back to the Roman Molossus. It is likely the breed was established, based on various records, in the 12th or 13th century, though they were recovered from near extinction more recently. Mira is a combination of Dirium and Corini lines. She is FCI registered, and it is possible to trace her lineage back several generations in Italy.

Corsos are very intelligent, trainable, and good with children. They love to be around people all the time; you don't want to just leave alone in the back yard and never pay attention to them. With good training and socialization Corsos are amazing companion dogs that can be taken anywhere without worry.

Corsos are generally quite athletic but they are also happy to laze around the house most of the day.
